Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 2026
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, provide a better user experience, and supply information to website owners. Cookies may be set by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third-party services operating on that website ("third-party cookies").
2. How We Use Cookies
Our website (rbtech.gi) currently uses only essential cookies, which are required for the site to operate correctly and securely. These are set by our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare. We do not currently run any analytics, advertising, behavioural tracking, profiling or social media cookies, and we do not sell data to third parties.
If we introduce privacy-focused analytics in the future, we will only do so on an opt-in basis through the cookie banner, and we will update this policy and the table below before any such cookie is set.
3. Cookies We Use
The following table details the essential cookies that may be set on our website. No analytics or marketing cookies are currently used:
| Cookie Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| __cf_bm | Essential | Cloudflare bot management — distinguishes human visitors from automated bots | 30 minutes |
| cf_clearance | Essential | Cloudflare security challenge clearance (only set if a security challenge is presented) | Up to 12 months |
4. Lawful Basis for Cookies
Under the GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations:
- Essential cookies are placed under the "strictly necessary" exemption and do not require consent, as they are essential for the website to function correctly and securely.
- Analytics cookies are not currently used. Should we enable privacy-focused analytics in future, such cookies would only be set after you actively accept them through our cookie banner (consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and you would be able to withdraw consent at any time.
5. Third-Party Cookies
Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may set essential security cookies to protect the website from malicious traffic. These cookies do not track you across other websites and do not collect personal information for marketing purposes.
We do not embed any third-party advertising, social media tracking pixels or marketing cookies on our website.
6. Managing and Disabling Cookies
You can control and manage cookies in several ways:
- Browser settings: Most web browsers allow you to view, manage, delete and block cookies. Note that disabling essential cookies may affect website functionality.
- Analytics preferences: We do not currently set analytics cookies. If analytics is enabled in future, you will be able to decline it through our cookie banner, and you can also use browser "Do Not Track" settings or analytics-blocking extensions.

7. Your Rights
Under the GDPR and Gibraltar data protection law, you have rights in relation to any personal data processed through cookies, including the right to access, rectification, erasure and objection. For full details of your rights, please see our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
